Educational programs at Sanctuary focus on four major life areas:
- Family Life
- Programs
such as Active Parenting are taught in different locations by Ellen
Rusin. Classes on communication and other topics
are also available.
- Spirituality
- Several
Sanctuary staff are available to help develop programs around specific
areas of concern for churches and other organization.
- Grief and Loss
- Sanctuary staff work closely with local grief associations and talk on a variety of concerns, such as:
- Is It Grief or Depression?
- Why is God Doing This to Me?
- Divorce and Death
- Work Life
- Sanctuary
staff present programs on Assertiveness in the Workplace, Stress Management and other topics.

Pastoral Counseling
Pastoral Counseling
incorporates psychotherapy and the dimensions of faith and
spirituality. All staff consider the roles of faith and spirituality within
the psychotherapeutic process.
Consultation
Consultation is available to
help clergy, congregations, businesses, professional organizations, and
other groups meet the challenges of a rapidly changing and highly
demanding world.
